A Colorado native, Dr. Miklin received his medical degree from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. He completed residency training in internal medicine and cardiology, followed by a fellowship in cardiovascular disease, at the University of Utah. Returning to Colorado, Dr. Miklin joined SCL Health�in 1983. He is board certified in cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology, and is chief of the cardiac service line at Lutheran Medical Center. Dr. Miklin�has been�named a Top Doctor by Denver�s 5280 magazine more than once, most recently in 2024.�An active runner and skier, Dr. Miklin stays in shape and enjoys world-famous Colorado skiing.
