Dr. Savona earned his medical degree from Duke University School of Medicine. He completed both his residency in internal medicine and his fellowship in Medical Oncology/Hematology at New York University Medical Center. Dr. Savona is an active member of the American Society of Hematology and the American Society of Clinical Oncology.
