Dr. Prem Soman
Overview
Dr. Prem Soman, MD, PhD, is a cardiologist certified in cardiovascular disease and internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He is an associate professor of medicine (cardiology) and clinical and translational science at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. He is director of the Cardiac Amyloidosis Center and nuclear cardiology at the UPMC Heart and Vascular Institute. Dr. Soman had his initial medical training in India, followed by a Ph.D. from the UK, residency at the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown, Pa., and fellowships in cardiology and advanced cardiac imaging at the Tufts Medical Center, Boston, Mass.
