Overview
Dr. Ayinde is a fellow of the Heart Rhythm Society, and he also serves on its program committee. He is the Vice-Chair of the Internal Medicine section at the National Medical Association. He also mentors many young minority physicians through the Association of Black Cardiologists.
Dr. Ayinde’s clinical expertise includes pacemakers (including leadless pacemakers), defibrillators, cardiac resynchronization therapy, and complex ablations for supraventricular tachycardia, atrial fibrillation, atrial flutter, ventricular tachycardia. He is a pioneer in conduction system pacing and fluoroless (no radiation) ablation techniques.
His research interests include atrial fibrillation in athletes, device-detection of atrial fibrillation, and outcomes of atrial fibrillation ablation.
