Dr. Ashar joined Pioneer Cardiovascular, P.C. in 2004. Originally from India, Dr. Ashar completed a residency in Internal Medicine at the Mount Sinai Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio in 1998. He then completed a Cardiovascular Fellowship at Good Samaritan Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona in 2001. Dr. Ashar is Board Certified in Cardiovascular Disease, Nuclear Cardiology as well as Interventional Cardiology.

Dr. Elghoul has served as Director of the Cath Lab at Dignity Health hospitals and continues to serve on the Physician's Clinical Council at Chandler Regional Hospital.
