Dr. Marco A. Caccamo

Dennis M. McNamara, MD, MS, is a cardiologist and is certified in both cardiovascular disease and advanced heart failure and transplant cardiology by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He is the director of the Center for Heart Failure Research at UPMC and is a professor of medicine at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. He received his medical degree from Harvard Medical School and completed his residency and cardiology fellowship at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. His clinical interests are adult congenital heart disease, pregnancy and heart disease, aortopathy, and advanced echocardiography, including transesophageal echocardiography. Dr. Hoskoppal has published numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals and is a member of the American Medical Association, American Academy of Pediatrics, American College of Cardiology, American Heart Association, Adult Congenital Heart Association and the International Society of Adult Congenital Heart Disease. When not at work Dr. Hoskoppal enjoys playing tennis, running, traveling, trying exotic cuisines and riding his bike. He recently moved to Pittsburgh with his wife and two young kids.
