Dr. Rakesh Bagai

Dr. Michael Musci joined Ironwood Cancer & Research Centers in June 2007 as a Medical Oncologist. He comes to us from Kaiser Permanente Oncology Department in Walnut Creek, California. Dr. Musci received his medical degree and PhD at the University of Iowa. After Internal Medicine Residency, Dr. Musci received fellowship training in Hematology Oncology at UCSD Medical Center in San Diego, California. He then served as academic clinical faculty at the Cleveland Clinic School of Medicine (Lerner School) in Cleveland, Ohio and subsequently at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. During his tenure at these prestigious institutions, he pioneered several novel clinical research trials which have been lauded at national scientific meetings and published in peer reviewed journals. His areas of clinical and research interests include several solid tumors and hematological disorders. He currently resides in Chandler with his wife and three children, and enjoys tennis, chess and racquetball during his spare time. Dr. Anita Koszyk-Szewczyk joined Ironwood Cancer & Research Centers in July 2009, after completing her Hematology and Oncology training at Penn State University Hershey Medical Center. Dr.Szewczyk has earned her medical degree at Jagiellonian University Collegium Medicum in Krakow, Poland and Honours Biology at McMaster University Hamilton, Canada. She served as Chief Fellow at Penn State University and her special interests include all forms of adult cancers and hematological disorders with special interest in Breast Cancer. She is originally from Poland and Canada. She is board certified in Internal Medicine, Hematology and Oncology.
