Dr. Amit Prasad

Dr. Khurram Ahmad worked as a Interventional Cardiologist at Beaumont and Henry Ford Systems in Michigan for 7 years before moving to Texas. He also served as the teaching faculty for the Oakwood Hospital cardiovascular Fellowship. He earned his medical degree with honors from King Edward Medical College in Lahore, Pakistan before coming to the United States in 2004. He is a fellowship-trained interventional cardiologist with certification in internal medicine, nuclear cardiology, cardiovascular disease, echocardiography, cardiac CT, and interventional cardiology. Dr. Ahmad's areas of special interest include coronary interventions, congestive heart failure, peripheral vascular disease, and vascular interpretations.
