Overview
Dr. Dinsfriend earned his bachelors degree from Tufts University and earned his medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He went on to complete his internal medicine residency at University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. He then completed a fellowship in cardiovascular disease at Mount Sinai Beth Israel, and completed an additional fellowship in advanced cardiovascular imaging at Memorial Sloan Kettering and Weill Cornell Presbyterian hospitals. He is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, Echocardiography, Nuclear Cardiology, Vascular Interpretation (RPVI), and Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance Imaging.
Dr. Dinsfriend treats adult patients with cardiovascular disease and specializes in advanced cardiovascular imaging. He has a special interest in diet/nutrition, valvular heart disease, and cardio-oncology.
In his spare time, Dr. Dinsfriend enjoys spending time with family, exercising and travelling.

Raul Blanco, M.D. FACC, received his Bachelors of Science in biology with a minor in chemistry and a Bachelors of Arts in economics with a minor in mathematics from the University of Miami in Miami, FL. He then went on to earn his medical degree from the University of Miami School Of Medicine. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at Emory University. Prior to joining Piedmont Heart, Dr. Blanco completed fellowships in cardiology and advanced cardiac imaging at Emory University. Dr. Blanco is board certified in Cardiology, Nuclear Cardiology, Cardiovascular CT and Cardiac MRI. He is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology and member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society, Society of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography, Society for Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance, American Society of Echocardiography, and the American Heart Association.Dr. Blanco enjoys traveling and has visited over 26 countries and most of the United States. He recently he has been exploring the Georgia mountains and the many parks and trails in the Atlanta area with his wife and two daughters.Dr. Blanco welcomes new patients and accepts most insurance plans.
