Overview
Philicia Andrews, M.D., is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and is a member of the Medical Association of Georgia. She has practiced medicine in Atlanta for over 20 years and currently serves as one of the Regional Medical Directors of Piedmont.
Dr. Andrews earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Georgia and her medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia. She completed her residency at Georgia Baptist Medical Center in 1999, and received her Executive MBA from Kennesaw State University in 2003.
Dr. Andrews has many interests in medicine. She is especially interested in preventative medicine, hypertension, diabetes, obesity, and women's health. Dr. Andrews' philosophy on medicine is that a patient should feel comfortable with his or her physician and feel free to ask questions. She believes strongly in open communication between the patient and the physician.

Connie DuPre, M.D., FACP, earned her undergraduate and medical degree from Louisiana State University. She completed her Internal Medicine residency at the Medical College of Georgia and fellowship in Faculty Development at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine. She remained on faculty as an Associate Professor of Medicine at the Medical College of Georgia in the department of medicine for ten years before going into private practice. Prior to joining Piedmont Physicians, Dr. DuPre worked in private practice south of Atlanta for more than 16 years. She is a member of Alpha Omega Alpha medical society and attained fellowship status in the American College of Physicians. Her special interests are diabetes and obesity management.
