Dr. Nikhil Joshi

Jorge Cheirif, M.D., was born and raised in Mexico City. He obtained his medical degree from the National University of Mexico and completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston.Cheirif is the director of the non-invasive cardiology lab, medical director of the Hispanic Initiative, and immediate past president and director of the Behavioral Event Review Committee (BERC) at Texas Health Dallas. He also serves as chair of the Heart & Vascular Accreditation Case Manager (HV-ACM) strategy committee. He is board-certified in cardiovascular diseases and internal medicine, focusing on consultative cardiology, echocardiography, CT angiography and cardiac catheterization.Cheirif was on the American Heart Association local affiliate board of directors for two years; has received the Clinician Scientist Award from the American Heart Association; and was named Teacher of the Year by Ochsner Clinic, Texas Health Dallas, and Baylor College of Medicine. In addition, he has been named to Best Doctors in Dallas and Texas Super Doctors for 10 years. Cheirif speaks Spanish, Yiddish and Hebrew, and lives in Dallas with his wife, Heidy. Matthew Dickson, M.D., Ph.D., F.A.C.C., is fellowship-trained and board-certified in internal medicine, cardiac CT, echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, and cardiology. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from Saint Olaf College in Northfield, Minn., with a bachelor's degree in biology before going on to receive his M.D. and Ph.D. from the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine in Iowa City. He completed his internal medicine internship and residency at Duke University in Durham, N.C., and fellowships in cardiology and advanced multimodality cardiovascular imaging at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas.Dr. Dickson's areas of special interest include cardiovascular risks in women after menopause, echocardiography, cardiovascular imaging, ambulatory monitoring and exercise testing. He is a member of the American College of Cardiology, American Society of Nuclear Cardiology, American Society for Preventive Cardiology and North American Society for Cardiovascular Imaging. When not caring for the heart-health needs of his patients, Dr. Dickson enjoys jogging, skiing, scuba diving and playing the trumpet. . Dr. Geetha Ramaswamy was always inspired by her uncle, who practiced family medicine for more than 40 years. When she decided to attend medical school, she knew early on that she wanted to focus on cardiology because of the ever-evolving nature of the field. Dr. Ramaswamy is an interventional cardiologist with subspecialty board certification in adult echocardiology and nuclear cardiology. She is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and has been serving the heart and vascular needs of patients since 2006. After serving North Texas communities for several years, Dr. Ramaswamy spent more than a decade in Northern Arkansas as a trailblazer in the fields of radial interventional cardiology, women’s heart care and heart valve treatments. She returned to the DFW area in 2021 to continue her work in interventional/structural cardiology.Dr. Ramaswamy earned her Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from Chennai Medical College in India. She completed her internal medicine residency at the University of Louisville in Kentucky. Dr. Ramaswamy completed her clinical cardiology fellowship at Barnes-Jewish Hospital-Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Mo.She is also fellowship trained in advanced nuclear cardiology and interventional cardiology through Yale University School of Medicine in New Haven, Conn.Dr. Ramaswamy is fluent in the Tamil and Hindi languages. When not with her patients, she enjoys meditating and the practice of yoga to strengthen not only her physical being but also for the mental strength and emotional balance they provide.
