Dr. Tu K. Le provides compassionate, comprehensive care for general and invasive cardiology in patients with known or suspected diseases of the heart or circulation. Dr. Le is also trained in vascular imaging and CT imaging. Dr. Le also provides expertise in rhythm management and pacemaker implants. He is a testamur of the North American Society of Pacing and Electrophysiology (NASPE).Dr. Le has a strong philosophy concerning a balanced life and applies this in his practice and focus in preventive and general cardiology. Raising five kids with his wife, he truly understands the demands that patients have in their lives and makes every effort to balance that with the latest cutting-edge therapy in cardiovascular care, whether that is through medications or, if necessary, invasive and interventional procedures. Aside from his practice and family, Dr. Le has managed to complete his MBA program from the University of Texas, Dallas, graduating with high honors and receiving the Beta Gamma Sigma honor. He has applied this skillset in his leadership positions in the local hospitals and Texas Health system. He has also managed to help start up a free medical clinic in his church and served as the medical director. Matthew Dickson, M.D., Ph.D., F.A.C.C., is fellowship-trained and board-certified in internal medicine, cardiac CT, echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, and cardiology. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from Saint Olaf College in Northfield, Minn., with a bachelor's degree in biology before going on to receive his M.D. and Ph.D. from the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine in Iowa City. He completed his internal medicine internship and residency at Duke University in Durham, N.C., and fellowships in cardiology and advanced multimodality cardiovascular imaging at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas.Dr. Dickson's areas of special interest include cardiovascular risks in women after menopause, echocardiography, cardiovascular imaging, ambulatory monitoring and exercise testing. He is a member of the American College of Cardiology, American Society of Nuclear Cardiology, American Society for Preventive Cardiology and North American Society for Cardiovascular Imaging. When not caring for the heart-health needs of his patients, Dr. Dickson enjoys jogging, skiing, scuba diving and playing the trumpet. . Jorge Cheirif, M.D., was born and raised in Mexico City. He obtained his medical degree from the National University of Mexico and completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston.Cheirif is the director of the non-invasive cardiology lab, medical director of the Hispanic Initiative, and immediate past president and director of the Behavioral Event Review Committee (BERC) at Texas Health Dallas. He is board-certified in cardiovascular diseases and internal medicine, focusing on consultative cardiology, echocardiography, CT angiography and cardiac catheterization.Cheirif was on the American Heart Association local affiliate board of directors for two years; has received the Clinician Scientist Award from the American Heart Association; and was named Teacher of the Year by Ochsner Clinic, Texas Health Dallas, and Baylor College of Medicine.
