Dr. Habib Khan

Habib Khan, MD, is a board-certified vascular and endovascular surgeon. He has clinical expertise treating patients with minimally invasive vascular surgery procedures, which means a quicker, easier recovery for patients. He specializes in surgical procedures ranging from common to complex, including aneurysms, carotid artery blockages, kidney failure/dialysis, peripheral artery disease, mesenteric ischemia, and varicose veins.With a goal of making specialized care accessible and convenient, Dr. Khan uses the latest innovative procedures, such as trans-carotid artery revascularization (TCAR), a minimally invasive procedure to treat carotid artery disease and help prevent future strokes, and customized stents to repair complex aortic aneurysms without compromising vital blood flow to the body’s organs.Dr. Khan completed his medical degree at King Edward Medical University in Pakistan, and vascular surgery residency at the University of Buffalo, where he earned a resident award from the Medical Society of the State of New York. He served as a research fellow at New York-Presbyterian Hospital, NYC.Prior to joining CentraState, Dr. Khan’s experience includes hospital leadership roles in surgery and vascular surgery. His research has been published in peer-reviewed medical journals, and he has presented at national conferences.Dr. Khan is a member of the American College of Surgeons, the Society of Vascular Surgery and the Eastern Vascular Society. He is a participating provider of the Atlantic Accountable Care Organization.
