Dr. Abraham Baidoo was moved to join Intermountain Health due to the location because he has family nearby. He also appreciates the beneficial work hours and work/life balance our organization offers, as well as an opportunity to carve his own path and explore new facets of medicine.Dr. Baidoo enjoys all aspects of medicine, and especially the puzzling cases that require additional research. He derives satisfaction from seeing patients make changes for themselves and being part of their journey to a better life.Dr. Baidoo grew up in Ghana, where he witnessed firsthand how medicine is practiced there. This led him to a career in medicine with the goal of someday joining a church mission trip when time permits.Dr. Baidoo earned his Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio, and earned his medical degree and performed his residency at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan.In his spare time, Dr. Baidoo enjoys soccer, travel, documentaries, and video games.
