Overview
A graduate of Klein High School and the University of St. Thomas in Houston, Dr. Adnan Peer earned his medical degree and completed his residency in internal medicine at The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston (UTMB). He completed fellowship training in rheumatology at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. Dr. Peer is board certified in rheumatology and internal medicine. He is a fellow of the American of College of Rheumatology and a member of the American College of Physicians, American Medical Association, Texas Medical Association and Harris County Medical Society. He teaches rheumatology as a volunteer preceptor and serves as a clinical assistant professor at UTMB. He treats patients with all forms of arthritis and connective tissue disorders and has a special interest in performing musculoskeletal ultrasound-guided injections to relieve pain. He has expertise in the use of disease-modifying, anti-rheumatic drugs (DMARDs) and biologic and small-molecule medications, including IV infusion therapeutic protocols. Dr. Peer speaks English, Hindi, Spanish and Urdu. In his leisure time, Dr. Peer enjoys spending time with his wife and young son, reading, watching movies and playing tennis.
