As a general and critical care surgeon, I treat patients with diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, traumatic injury, abdominal wall (hernias), breast disease and more. I have additional training and a particular focus in emergency general surgery of the gastrointestinal tract and in surgical critical illness. I aim to employ minimally invasive and laparoscopic surgical technique whenever possible. My passion is to provide the highest quality of evidence-based care while effectively communicating with my patients, family and medical care team. My approach to medical practice is to bring clarity to the problem at hand for my patients and to provide prompt and safe care by every means possible. I enjoy working alongside patients to help them overcome whatever medical challenge they face and to help restore them to health and well-being.
