"Dr. Cheyne was born and raised in Saint Anthony, a small town in eastern Idaho. He earned a bachelor's degree in creative writing from The College of Idaho and worked at a developmental disability agency before attending medical school. He received his medical degree and master's in public health from the University of Utah School of Medicine in Salt Lake City, Utah. Wanting to receive superb training while remaining close to the mountains, he completed residency training at Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver.""Medicine is a career where I have the privilege to get to know people and make a difference in their lives.
