Dr. Jennifer A. Nesfeder

Jennifer Nesfeder, DO, is a board-certified internal medicine physician specializing in interventional cardiology. She provides heart care for adults including treatment for coronary artery disease, heart disease, aortic stenosis, mitral valve stenosis, aortic valve regurgitation, mitral valve regurgitation, heart failure, arrhythmias, high blood pressure and cardiomyopathy.|She has a clinical interest in cardiac life support, CPR and cardiac imaging including echocardiography.|Dr. Nesfeder attended the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, where she earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine. She followed this with a residency in internal medicine at Lankenau Medical Center in Wynnewood, Pennsylvania. After that, she completed a fellowship in cardiovascular disease at Lehigh Valley Health Network in Allentown. She’s working on a fellowship in interventional cardiology at Christiana Care Health System in Newark, Delaware.|In 2016, she received the Excellence in Primary Care Award in recognition of her commitment to providing outstanding medical care.|Dr. Nesfeder is an active member of several professional organizations including the American College of Cardiology, American Osteopathic Association, Pennsylvania Osteopathic Medical Association and American College of Physicians.|She has published several papers and peer-reviewed journal articles. She’s also participated in several ongoing cardiac research projects.
