As a surgical PA, I approach patient care with my heart first and my head second. I understand that many patients are nervous or scared, and I strive to ease their minds before addressing their surgical concerns. I believe kindness and compassion are key to a successful treatment plan.|My clinical interests include procedures, arterial disease, and wound care.|Why I Love My Work|I enjoy the variety in my work, from assisting in routine general surgeries like gallbladder and hernias to complex six-hour leg revascularizations. It's a privilege to support patients throughout their surgical journey, from consultation to post-op care.|My passion for medicine began with a love for anatomy and biology in high school, inspired by a great science teacher. Surgery allows me to work in diverse settings and be hands-on in patient care.|Getting to Know Me|Outside of work, I'm passionate about health and fitness—I hold a degree in Exercise Science. In my spare time, I enjoy running, biking, reading, and spending time with family and friends.

Her clinical expertise encompasses Peptic Ulcer, Necrosis, Carotid Artery Disease, and Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm (AAA).

Dr. Bates is board certified in National Commission On Certification Of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) - Physician Assistant. Dr. Bates is currently accepting new patients.
