I became a cardiologist because I'm fascinated with the physiology and pathology that impacts not just our patients, but every living person. A single day of my practice might include everything from a cardiovascular risk and prevention discussion with one patient to management of advanced heart disease with another. No matter the case, my goal is to be an ally, supporting each patient in meeting his or her personal health goals. I enjoy forming long-lasting and positive relationships with my patients. My approach is to always listen intently to my patients to best understand their concerns and wishes. This insight allows me to provide tailored education that can help empower patients to be active participants in their own care plan. In my free time, I enjoy catching up with my family, listening to music and watching movies. I also love anything involving food, from trying new recipes or new restaurants to picking wild blueberries up north - count me in! I am a member of the American Heart Association (AHA) and the American College of Cardiology (ACC).
