Overview
Dermatology quickly became my preferred specialty because it provides the chance to work with patients of all ages and backgrounds. I find it extremely rewarding to help patients understand their skin condition and believe that one of the most important parts of my job is listening to the patient. While I enjoy both medical and surgical dermatology, I have also completed an extra year of fellowship training in dermatopathology (the study of skin diseases at a microscopic and molecular level). Determining how the microscopic findings in a skin biopsy combine with the patient's clinical presentation is a challenging puzzle that I love to solve. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, cooking and traveling. Physical activity is an essential part of my day, from running and biking to rowing and yoga.
