Dr. Sisco attended medical school in her home state of Arkansas before moving to Temple to complete her medical training in internal medicine and infectious disease at BSWH. Her interests include care of patients with HIV and medical education. She currently serves as the fellowship director for the BSWH infectious disease fellowship program. John Midturi completed his medical training at the University of North Texas Health Science Center/Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine, Fort Worth. He then pursued combined training in Internal Medicine-Pediatrics, followed by an Adult Infectious Disease fellowship, all at Scott & White Healthcare. He obtained a Master’s in Public Health degree during his fellowship through Texas A&M University. He considers, Temple “home” at this point since he has been here since 1999 (except for time in Malawi) and is becoming a huge (TISD) Temple High Wildcat fan!
