"My decision to study medicine neither stems from a childhood dream, nor a specific moment in my past. Instead, it has its roots in science which was my primary interest in school. Medicine's forward-thinking nature intrigues me most, as it builds on what is already known to better the lives of others. It is a career I deeply cherish, that allows me to positively impact patients both physically and emotionally.What I want my patients to know about me:""Caring can happen without curing, but curing cannot happen without caring."" These words have always been my motto in practicing medicine. I recognize the immense privilege I have to be your physician and I am grateful and appreciative of the trust you put in me. I also derive great inspiration from working with residents and students in the clinic and enjoy teaching.What I do when I'm not seeing patients:Outside of medicine, I love hiking and exploring US parks with my husband and two kids. We jointly enjoy pampering our two cats, as well as gardening and growing veggies with variable success. Also, I find joy in everything that has music in it - I love listening to all types of music, dancing to it and most of all, I enjoy all classical ballet shows.".
