Dr. Noelle K. Loconte

Noelle LoConte, MD, is a UW Health medical oncologist and an associate professor in the Division of Hematology, Medical Oncology and Palliative Care within the Department of Medicine at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. She cares for adult patients with gastrointestinal (GI) tumors.As a GI specialist, Dr. LoConte treats patients with digestive system cancers, including liver, pancreatic, stomach, colon and intestinal cancer. Dedicated to enhancing patient results, she excels at using targeted treatments like precision-based chemotherapy.Dr. LoConte understands how a cancer diagnosis can impact a whole family. She strives to bring comfort to patients and their loved ones during these difficult times. She collaborates with her team to meet the patient’s needs throughout their treatment and recovery. Appreciating that her patient is the team leader, she takes time to discuss all treatment options and helps them choose plans that align with their values.In addition to her clinical work, Dr. LoConte continues to push her field forward through research.
