Dr. Ylitalo is a general urologist practicing all aspects of male and female urology. He received his Bachelor of Science from Baylor University while majoring in Chemistry with minors in Mathematics, Biology, and Medical Humanities. He completed his medical degree at the University of North Texas Health Science Center at Fort Worth before completing his residency in Urology at Michigan State University at the Detroit Medical Center, where he served as Chief Resident. Dr. Ylitalo is married to Kelly Ylitalo, PhD, who is a tenured professor at Baylor University, specializing in chronic disease epidemiology. They have two children, Edison and Eleanor. His interests include traveling, Baylor University sporting events, and spending time with his family.
