Dr. Ward is a Clinical Professor at Texas A&M College of Medicine at Texas A&M Health Science Center, Dallas. He has traveled the world to train with pioneer surgeons who have pushed the frontiers of minimally invasive surgery such as Lee Swanstrom and Brice Gayet. His philosophy of care is to get patients back to a quality of life that is better than when he first met them. In addition to his extensive education, Dr. Davis was appointed Assistant Professor in Surgery and served on the faculty of Columbia University Department of Surgery for over seven years. During this time he was also the Director of Bariatric Surgery for Columbia's affiliate medical institutions and established Bariatric Surgical programs at Valley Hospital in Ridgewood, NJ, and Lawrence Hospital in Bronxville, NY. Dr. Davis is involved with many clinical studies and has published numerous articles in the field of bariatric and gastrointestinal surgery.
