Dr. Richard T. Lee is the director of the Regenerative Medicine Center at Brigham and Women’s Hospital (BWH). A specialist in cardiovascular medicine, he is a professor of medicine at Harvard Medical School (HMS) as well as a professor of Stem Cell and Regenerative Biology at Harvard University.He received his medical degree at Weill Cornell Medical College. He then completed a residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in cardiovascular disease at BWH. He has authored over 230 peer-reviewed publications and received research funding from the American Heart Association and the National Institutes of Health.
