An internationally recognized leader in structural heart disease, Dr. Généreux has been a practicing interventional cardiologist for more than 15 years. He is the director of the structural heart program at Morristown Medical Center, has served as the primary or co-investigator on more than 20 clinical trials, and has published more than 350 articles in peer-reviewed journals. He is currently the principal investigator of the EARLY TAVR trial and the PROGRESS trial, two major studies in the field of aortic valve disease. He then completed fellowships in Cardiovascular Disease and Coronary and Peripheral Vascular Intervention at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center / Harvard Medical School and additionally obtained a Masters of Science in Clinical Epidemiology from the Harvard School of Public Health prior to moving back to Columbia.
