Overview
I tore a ligament in my knee from playing soccer. The doctor who patched me up and got me playing again was very cool, and I thought that me helping people to get to where they wanted to be in life was what I wanted to do. Along the way, I have had some amazing mentors from my grandparents, parents, my own family doctors, Dr. Pugliese and Dr. Stewart, and many others. There are a lot of amazing people in the medical field and I am proud to have a small role in helping people in their journey to good health.What I want my patients to know about me:I like to work with patients to achieve their health goals in a manner that is down to earth. I am more about stopping unnecessary medications and having them learn how to achieve a healthy lifestyle so they can visit me less rather than more often. I don't like telling people what to do, I want to know what their goals are and work with them on getting there. I love seeing whole families from wee ones and adolescents to parents and grandparents.What I do when I'm not seeing patients:Hang out with the family, play guitar, hunt, fish, read, exercise, hike, play with the dogs, go to church and travel for fun or on mission trips.
