Dr. Ritchie completed his undergraduate work at the University of Evansville, where he played baseball for three years. He attended medical school at Indiana University, where he graduated with highest honors in 1986. He then went on to complete his residency at Case Western Reserve School of Medicine in Cleveland in 1989. From there, he went on to complete his fellowship at Washington University in Saint Louis, where he performed clinical rotations while receiving interventional training.
