David Parrish, M.D., was born in Lawrence, Kan. He received a bachelor's degree from Baylor University in 1988 (majoring in Spanish) and his M.D. degree from the University of Kansas in 1992, where he was a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society.
