Dr. Avindra J. Nath

Dr. Katz completed his undergraduate degree in Neuroscience at Colgate University, his MD at SUNY/Buffalo School of Medicine (his home town), his Neurology residency at Duke University Medical Center, and his Neuro-Ophthalmology fellowship at the University of Michigan/Kellogg Eye Center. Dr. Katz specializes in Neuro-Ophthalmology and Neurology. Dr. Arun Venkatesan serves as Director of the Johns Hopkins Encephalitis Center, where he directs clinical activities and research. He has received funding from the National Institutes of Health, Howard Hughes Medical Institute, National Multiple Sclerosis Society, and Maryland Stem Cell Research Fund.
