Overview
Dr. Kauffman earned his medical degree in 1987 at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, New Brunswick, New Jersey and completed his residency at University of North Carolina Hospitals, Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Dr. Kauffman went on to complete a Fellowship in Cardiology at University of Virginia School of Medicine, Charlottesville, Virginia. He is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease and Nuclear Cardiology.
