Dr. Chester C. Yavorski

Jeremy Irvan, MD, is a board-certified and fellowship-trained vascular surgeon. He treats adults with peripheral artery disease, carotid artery disease, aortic aneurysmal disease and varicose veins. He also assists with maintenance of arterial venous fistula.|Dr. Irvan earned his medical degree from The University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. After medical school, he completed a residency at The University of Oklahoma College of Medicine in Oklahoma City. He followed that with a fellowship in vascular surgery at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville.|“I never expected to become a vascular surgeon,” he says. “I always thought I would be a family medicine doctor. It’s all I was exposed to growing up. However, when I completed my rotation in vascular surgery, I knew this was the path for me.”|Originally from rural southwest Arkansas, he came to Geisinger after matching into a vascular surgery fellowship. “I was so impressed with the department of vascular surgery and the beauty of central Pennsylvania,” he says. “When the opportunity to work at Geisinger Medical Center arose, I accepted.”|He adds, “I love my team here at Geisinger. We have a dynamic, talented, motivated group of vascular surgeons, vascular surgical fellows and residents, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, vascular lab technologists, nursing staff and medical students. We all love treating our patients and seeing them achieve better health.”|In his spare time, he enjoys golf, cycling and lifting weights. Dr. Obmann is a board-certified and fellowship-trained vascular surgeon. Her clinical interests include abdominal/thoracic aortic aneurysm/dissection repair, carotid artery stenting and endarterectomy, PVD balloon angioplasty/stenting and lower extremity bypass, endovenous treatments, endovascular thrombolytic therapy for acute DVT, and hemodialysis procedures. Dr. Obmann attended the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine, where she received her medical degree. She completed her residency as well as her fellowship in vascular surgery at Geisinger Medical Center. Dr. Obmann is certified by the American Board of Surgery in vascular surgery.
