Dr. Sun earned his medical degree from Hunan Medical University in China and completed his Internal Medicine residency at University of Massachusetts Medical Center, Worcester, MA. He completed his fellowship in Cardiology at Mid America Heart Institute/University of Missouri Medical Center, Kansas City, Missouri. He is board certified in Cardiovascular Disease.
Dr. Sun has been practicing medicine/cardiology for 20 years. Prior to joining Piedmont, Dr. Sun was a medical staff member at Division of Cardiology, Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and attending cardiologist at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center, Baltimore, Maryland.
Dr. Sun specializes in cardiovascular diseases prevention and treatment. Dr. Sun has special interests in congestive heart failure, and cardiac imaging.

Ryan K. Crisel, M.D. obtained a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. He received a medical degree from Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Ga. Dr. Crisel completed internal medicine residency in the department of medicine at the University of California-San Francisco. Dr. Crisel then completed a fellowship in cardiovascular medicine at Northwestern University. Dr. Crisel joins Piedmont Heart after recently completing a fellowship in interventional cardiology at Emory University. He is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular medicine, echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, and physician's vascular interpretation. Dr. Crisel is a member of the American College of Cardiology and the American Medical Association. In his spare time, Dr. Crisel enjoys playing basketball, downhill skiing and hiking. Dr. Sigman is currently board certified in both cardiovascular diseases and nuclear cardiology. He currently serves as the Director of Nuclear Cardiology for Piedmont Hospital and the Piedmont Heart Institute. He also serves as a cardiology consultant both in the office and at Piedmont Hospital. His interests include diagnosis and management of coronary artery disease, valvular heart disease, vascular disease, and cardiac manifestations of complex medical conditions. Dr. Sigman is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology, and the America Society of Nuclear Cardiology. He has authored or co-authored several publications and abstracts and frequently lectures on the topic of cardiac imaging. He lives in Atlanta with his wife, Carolyn H.
