Before he completed his training, he served as Chief Resident for the Department of Neurosurgery. Dr. Eichberg also completed a Neurosurgical Oncology fellowship at the University of Miami, focused on minimally invasive brain tumor surgery techniques.Dr. Eichberg has published over 130 peer-reviewed publications focused on the clinical, translational, and basic science of brain tumor biology and surgical treatment.To me, the most gratifying part of my profession is the meaningful connections I make with my patients, and to see them healthy and feeling better after surgery, he says. It is truly a gift to get to know these brave and resilient individuals on their path to recovery.Dr. Eichberg currently works in the Northwell Health Department of Neurosurgery at North Shore University Hospital and Long Island Jewish Medical Center, where he focuses on the treatment of patients with brain tumors using minimally invasive surgical techniques.
