Dr. Sushee C. Gadde

Dr. Marti received her undergraduate degree in 2002 from The University of Georgia in Athens and earned her medical degree in 2007 from Mercer University where she was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. She completed her Internal Medicine residency and General Cardiology fellowship at Emory University in Atlanta. Dr. Marti completed an additional year in Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology and also received her Masters in Clinical Research during her training at Emory.Dr. Marti is board certified in Internal Medicine, General Cardiology, Echocardiography and Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology. She is a member of the American College of Cardiology, American Heart Association, Heart Failure Society of America and International Society of Heart and Lung Transplantation. She has received grant funding from the American Heart Association and remains involved with heart failure research with many active clinical trials and journal publications. Her clinical interests include heart failure and transplant cardiology, mechanical circulatory support, congenital heart disease, cardio-oncology, cardiac imaging and women's heart disease, including heart disease during pregnancy.In her spare time, Dr. Marti enjoys spending time with her family, traveling and playing tennis. Andrew Darlington, D.O. earned his medical degree at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Philadelphia. He completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Florida College of Medicine in Jacksonville, where he was the Chief Medical Resident. Following his residency, he completed a Cardiology fellowship at the University of Florida and served as the Chief Cardiovascular Fellow.Dr. Darlington completed his fellowship training in Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology at Yale University. He is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Medicine, Echocardiology and Nuclear Cardiology. Dr. Darlington is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology and a member of the International Society of Heart and Lung Transplantation and Cardiomyopathy. He has a special interest in Congestive Heart Failure and Cardiomyopathy. In his spare time, Dr. Darlington enjoys all sports as well as traveling with his family.Dr. Darlington comes to Piedmont Heart with eight years of medical experience. Dr. Kuruvilla earned his medical degree from Christian Medical College and Hospital, Vellore India and completed his residency at Medstar Health/Good Samaritan Hospital, Baltimore. He completed a post-doctoral research fellowship in hypertension and behavioral cardiology at Columbia University Medical Center, New York and did his cardiology training at State University of New York (SUNY) Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, New York. He then finished his advanced cardiac imaging training at University of Virginia Medical Center, Charlottesville.Dr. Kuruvilla has been practicing medicine for 11 years. Prior to joining Piedmont Heart, Dr. Kuruvilla was Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania Hospital, Philadelphia and Director of Advanced Cardiac Imaging at the VA Medical Center at Philadelphia. He holds board certifications with the American Board of Internal Medicine and is a member of the American Heart Association, American College of Cardiology, Society of Cardiac Magnetic Resonance and Society of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography. His clinical and research interests are in the field of hypertension, heart failure with preserved ejection fraction and cardiovascular magnetic resonance perfusion imaging.In his spare time, Dr. Kuruvilla enjoys spending time with his family, reading books, watching documentaries and playing tennis.
