Dr. Henry Cheng is board-certified in imaging and general cardiology. He earned his medical degree from the University of California at Los Angeles. Dr. Cheng completed an internal medicine residency at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD, and a cardiovascular medicine fellowship at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA. He is also currently participating in ongoing clinical trials.Dr. Monroe has been published in the American Heart Association’s journal, Circulation, as well as in Progress in Cardiovascular Diseases, The Journal of the American College of Cardiology, The Journal of Heart and Lung Transplantation, and The American Heart Journal.|He has co-authored chapters in the books Cardiology and Cardiovascular Therapeutics, A Companion to Braunwald’s Heart 2nd Edition and has presented before the members of the Society for Cardiac Angiography and Interventions. Dr. Monroe is board certified in cardiology and is a member of the Chattanooga-Hamilton County Medical Society.Dr. Monroe is an avid hiker. He and his family enjoy many outdoor activities.
