Ahmad Zankar, M.D., FACC, is fellowship-trained in general cardiology and interventional cardiology from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas and board-certified in general cardiology, echocardiography, interventional cardiology and nuclear cardiology. He brings nearly a decade of clinical, research and training experience to Presbyterian Heart & Vascular Group. In addition to his numerous board-certifications, he also has advanced training as a Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation (RPVI).Dr. Ahmad completed his internal medicine residency at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, where he served as chief resident during his final year of training and as chief cardiology fellow while pursuing his fellowship training. Dr. Ahmad completed an additional interventional cardiology fellowship at Michigan State University. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology. Dr. Ahmad relocated to North Texas in 2019.
