Dr. Gregory G. Salzler

Gregory G. Salzler, MD, is a board-certified vascular surgeon. He provides care for women and men who need a wide range of vascular procedures, including treatment for blood clots, deep vein thrombosis (DVT), renal artery disease, stroke, vascular disease, carotid artery disease, peripheral arterial disease (PAD), thoracic aneurysms, abdominal aortic aneurysms, venous disease and varicose veins.|Dr. Salzler has a clinical interest in all aspects of vascular and endovascular surgery, including limb salvage, dialysis access and minimally invasive endovascular techniques.|Board-certified in general surgery and vascular surgery, Dr. Salzler earned his medical degree from Georgetown University in Washington D.C. He completed a general surgery residency at New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center. He then completed a fellowship in vascular surgery at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.|Dr. Salzler is an active member of several organizations, including the American College of Surgeons, Delaware Valley Vascular Society, Eastern Vascular Society and Vascular and Endovascular Surgery Society. He is a Fellow of the Society for Vascular Surgery and serves as an associate professor of surgery at the Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine.
