Dr. Garvin is a board-certified and fellowship-trained vascular surgeon. His clinical and research interests include carotid artery disease, aortic aneurysmal disease and peripheral artery disease. He has extensive experience with carotid stenting, carotid surgery, aortic stenting and aortic surgery, and stenting and surgery of arteries in the lower extremities. He also provides vascular access for dialysis patients. Dr. Garvin earned his medical degree from Temple University. He completed his residency at Western Pennsylvania Hospital, and a fellowship in vascular surgery at the Milton S. Hershey Medical Center. He has extensive experience with aortic aneurysm surgery and stents, and broad experience with leg revascularization with leg stents or bypass for peripheral arterial disease. Dr. Elmore is pleased to provide minimally invasive procedures for varicose veins for his patients at Geisinger. Stent placement for renal artery disease and mesenteric disease are also procedures he commonly performs. Dr. Elmore likes to treat all his patients as if they are his own family members.
