Overview
Michelle Petri, M.D. is a Professor of Medicine at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. She attended medical school at Harvard University and fulfilled her internal medicine residency at the Massachusetts General Hospital. In addition, she completed two fellowship programs at the University of California, San Francisco in allergy and immunology and rheumatology. She has co-authored several articles and abstracts, presented research on Systemic Sclerosis at the American College of Rheumatology national meeting in Chicago in November 2011, and is the first author of a manuscript on tuberculous arthritis that has recently been accepted for publication.Dr. Thomas is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology and is a member of the American College of Rheumatology. Her areas of interest include systemic lupus erythematosus, rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, gout, psoriatic arthritis, and ankylosing spondylitis.
