He has pioneered EUS guided radiofrequency ablation procedure to treat pancreatic cancer and has been the recipient of R01 grant from the National Institute of Health. Dr. Thosani has published over 150 peer-reviewed manuscripts. Currently, he is Chair of the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ASGE) Standards of Practice Committee and has been involved in drafting multiple guidelines in field of gastrointestinal endoscopy. Dr. Thosani’s practice philosophy centers on providing personalized care tailored to each patient’s specific clinical problem.
