Dr. Djurabek Babadjanov

Dr. Babadjanov is a board-certified and fellowship-trained vascular surgeon in Newport News, Hampton and Gloucester, VA. With special interests in arterial and venous diseases, aortic surgery, cerebrovascular diseases and dialysis access, he does everything he can to provide timely and high-quality vascular surgical care. Dr. Babadjanov earned his medical degree from the First Tashkent State Medical Institute in Uzbekistan. He completed a general surgery residency at Cleveland Clinic in 2017, followed by a vascular surgery fellowship at Eastern Virginia Medical School. Prior to that, he also completed cardiothoracic surgery fellowships at the University of Iowa and Cleveland Clinic. Dr. Babadjanov is board certified by the American Board of Surgery in general surgery and vascular surgery. After spending over 10 years training in major U.S. hospitals, Dr. Babadjanov decided to remain in the specialty of vascular surgery, which has evolved immensely in the last two decades. The technically and mentally challenging procedures of vascular surgery appeal to Dr. Babadjanov, who often enjoys the ability to provide an instant and durable solution to his patients’ problems. Dr. Babadjanov is originally from Uzbekistan, one of the former Soviet Union republics.
