"I'm originally from a small town in Wisconsin where my mother, a nurse, raised me to value helping people in our community. After college, I started a career path to become a scientist but found I missed the direct connections with others. I switched paths and have come to love my long-term relationships with patients in primary care. As I have two young children of my own, pediatrics has become a special love of mine. At home, I love jogging (I never claim to ""run,"" as I'm really not that fast), photographing people, snuggling my kids, and laughing with my husband.".
