He completed internship at Riverside Regional Medical Center in Newport News and residency training in Radiation Oncology at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond.

To better serve patients and find effective treatments, Dr. Lomas conducts research in breast, prostate, lung and other cancers. His research experience is broad, with a special focus on using stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS) and stereotactic body radiotherapy (SBRT/SABR) to treat metastatic cancer.
