Overview
Dr. Zaghloul joined Mercy Pediatric Subspecialty Clinic in 2016. He earned his medical degree at the University of Jordan in Amman, Jordan. He completed a pediatric residency and a fellowship in pediatric gastroenterology and hepatology at Children’s Hospital of Michigan in Detroit, Mich. Most recently, Dr. Zaghloul was an assistant professor of pediatrics at Wayne State University in Detroit, and associate director of the pediatric gastroenterology fellowship program at Children’s Hospital of Michigan. Dr. Zaghloul’s areas of specialization include: gastroesophageal reflux, constipation, feeding disorders, celiac disease, eosinophilic esophagitis, liver disease and inflammatory bowel disease. He provides the following procedural services: Upper Endoscopy, colonoscopy, EndoFlip for measurement of esophageal distensibility, Polypectomy, pH impedance monitoring, capsule endoscopy and Breath Hydrogen Testing.
