Overview
Dr. Mendelow moved to Austin from Dallas after completing her training at UT Southwestern. Although she is originally from Washington, DC, she considers herself a newly-minted Texan. She enjoys exploring the hiking trails around the greater Austin area with her husband, son and goldendoodle. Dr. Mendelow opted to pursue a career in urology after a medical school rotation revealed it to be an exciting surgical subspecialty that permitted long-term relationships with patients and emphasized patient quality of life. She practices adult general urology and treats both male and female urologic issues. Dr. Mendelow has been recognized as a Top Doc 2023, 2024, and 2025 by Austin Monthly Magazine. Winners are nominated by their peers as among the best in their region/nation in their medical specialty.
