Dr. Jacques Galipeau

Natalie Callander, MD, is a UW Health hematologist specializing in blood disorders and multiple myeloma blood cancer. She’s also a professor in the Department of Medicine at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health.Dr. Callander treats multiple myeloma and complications such as anemia, bone fractures and infections. She leads the multiple myeloma clinical program at the UW Health|Carbone Cancer Center. Dr. Callander’s specialties include advanced stem cell transplantation, during which patients may receive their own transplanted cells or compatible donor cells.Understanding that cancer care can feel overwhelming, Dr. Callander takes time to listen to her patients and guide them through treatment options and care. Though the care she provides is very clinical, she believes compassion is key.
