Dr. Michael S. Conte is a vascular surgeon who specializes in diseases of the aorta and its major branches, aneurysms, carotid artery disease and peripheral artery disease (PAD). He also treats diabetic vascular disease and performs complex revascularization (restoration of blood flow) to preserve limb function and prevent amputation. Conte is co-director of the UCSF Heart & Vascular Center and chief of the Division of Vascular & Endovascular Surgery.
